The team at Vancouver Dental Spa have been working together for many years now. It's obvious when you enter the office that they enjoy what they do, and where they are and it's reflected in everything they do.
Jaime (Office Manager)
Jaime was born and raised in and around Vancouver. In 1999, Jaime graduated from Vancouver Community College as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). For the next 6 years Jaime worked as a full time CDA in a very busy dental practice located in Kelowna. After moving back to Vancouver in late 2005, Jaime was hired first as an assistant, shifting into dental reception and was quickly promoted to office manager in early 2006. She moved with Dr. Clease from his old 'Crossroads' practice to the newly created Vancouver Dental Spa when the old practice was demolished for Canada Line construction.
Jaime is a busy mom of two, who does Dental Practice Managment Consulting on the side and still manages to find time to spend with friends and family.
Laurie (Certified Dental Assistant)
Laurie originally joined us during a work placement, and then was asked to take over a mat leave position. Impressed by her skill and enthusiasm she has become a full time member of the team. Laurie graduated from MTI in 2011 from the Dental Assisting program. In her spare time she enjoys camping, snowboarding, playing soccer and travelling whenever she can.
Dalia (Dental Hygienist)
Dalia graduated from the College of New Caledonia Dental Hygiene program in 2006. She has a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and worked as a physical therapist for 2 years while completing a Masters degree in Public Health in Lithuania where she was born and raised.
Dalia is a retired international level fencer and represented Lithuania at the 1995 Fencing World Championships. In Canada, she has competed as a Boccia sport assistant at the Sydney and Beijing Paralympic Games. In her spare time, Dalia enjoys spending time with her family.
Samantha (Dental Hygienist)
Samantha graduated from the College of New Caledonia Dental Hygiene program in 2011. She moved to Vancouver right after graduating and is happy to call Vancouver home. In her spare time Samantha likes to travel as often as possible. When she is not off exploring the world she can be found
hiking, biking, running and camping.
